Today is "National Black Cat Day"
As you already know Black Cats this time of year decorate many thresholds and windows for Halloween to spook those who fear this majestic creature. Appreciate and adore these feline friends and give them the love they deserve and rid the negative reputation old lore once gave them.
National Black Cat Day is a day to turn that bad reputation around.
Is an International Organization of families who own and enjoy the recreational use of motorhomes. These motorhomes are usually converted and customized buses that can withstand long lasting touring and endure many years of recreational pleasure.
Though like everything, they don't last forever as thousands and thousands of miles bring ware and fatigue to the vehicle. Like this 1970 Motor Coach Industries (MCI) model MC-7 or better known as the "Super 7" she lay to rest at her final destination.
Sometimes structures are too massive to demolish. This structure is no exception after an entire concrete facility was demolished and hauled away due to contaminated ground. Everything that is except this colossal mass of concrete.

My last image of her a year to the day of what was once an iconic Urban Explorer's paradise. Though in despair and dying, she was filled with an angry life that told a story forever changing on her walls. Her fiery heart bursted and burned leaving nothing but the mere memory of her enraged beauty.
So, walking through a vestibule of a major department store the other day, a little Boy around the age of eight years pointed to this and asked his Mother: "Mommy, what is that?" When the Mother replied "A Telephone." The Boy was completely perplexed and confused not comprehending how this could possibly be a phone being he was only accustomed to Smart Phones. There were too many contraptions with buttons, wires and gadgets to be a phone. The Boy continued walking out of the store with his eyes looking over his shoulder affixed to the pay phone!
