Whatcha say?

Grandfather:   “What?  Whatcha say?  I didn’t hear yea.  What?”

Grandson:       “I said, don’t you think that it’s time that you started getting
                          dinner ready?”

Grandfather:   “What’s that again?”

Grandson:       “Dinner Ready, Dinner Ready!”

Grandfather:   “Ever Ready batteries?  No we don’t have any in the house.”

Grandson:       “Not Ever Ready.  I said Dinner Ready.  It’s Time to Start Dinner!”

Grandfather:   “A carton of thinner?  Now why on earth do yea need that?
                          I think we have a gallon or two in the shed.  But I can’t deal
                          with that now, it’s about time I’ve gotten dinner ready… "
