Hang or Not to Hang Rosary Beads

A question I have pondered arose when seeing a car with Rosary Beads hanging from the rear view mirror.

Why are they hanging the Rosary Beads? To show Religion... Ethnicity... Witness... Or possibly just for the sheer looks and enjoyment of a Crucifix hanging. I personally don't have anything hanging from my mirror though I do enjoy the look of when I see it on other vehicles.

In New jersey it is illegal to hang anything from the rear view mirror. However, it really isn't enforced. But be warned, it will cost you from passing vehicle inspection if whatever you have is still hanging on your mirror at the time.

So my question is, If it's illegal to have anything including a Religious symbol hanging from your rear view mirror, does this make it a sin? Makes you think, doesn't it?!

Bird on a Cross

Up so high on a church's Steeple
Sits a Bird looking at the People
Whistling a tune mournfully Sang
In harmony as the church bell Rang

Way up high upon the church's Cross
Forever her flight is at a Loss
Whistling by night hopes of Flying
Whistling by day hopes of Dying

One by one a feather plucked will Fall
Plucked raw until there are none at All
Her painful song echoed in the Breeze
Taken far away beyond the Trees

Up so high on a church's Steeple
Sits a Bird looking at the People
Whistling a tune so sad to Sing
All because she has a broken WIng

He ain't Heavy, He's my Brother

If I'm laden in Pain
I'm laden with Sadness
That everyone's heart is Filled
With Health and Gladness

Full of Love for one Another

The Night Stalker

In the deepest darkest phase of night when all is quiet and everyone is abed. The Cat prowls through the darkened hallways ready to pounce on whatever crosses her path.

Yes, it might even be you when you wake feeling peckish venturing into the kitchen for a snack. Her tiny paws wrap and tightly grip your ankle as fangs gently cling to your skin. Try as you might, you cannot brake free of the tireless Feline!
