Porcelain Doll

Meet Liza

I was gifted this old beautiful Porcelain Doll from a friend that had her kept away in her Sister's basement for several years.  She's an amazing conditions other than some age old dust and a few markings that shouldn't be an issue to clean off.

Apparently my friend's Sister has been wanting to rid the doll for quite some time being that her vacant stare was making her feel uneasy.  I think she is quite beautiful as she stands three feet tall with a gorgeous blue Victorian era dress.

I'm trying to find out how old she is and who the maker is for there isn't any markings, tags or numbers I have seen as of late.  As I clean her up, I might find something.  She looks to be from the KB Collection due to the soft look of her angelic face as well as the style and embellishments on her long layered Victorian dress.  Also her name is undefinable, so we opted to call her Liza until I find out who she really is.

Stay Tuned!

Sensor Tag

Hmmm...  Retail is so quick to get you in the store and make a fast buck that they cannot take the time to check the garments that you purchase.  Associate #442975, you left the Sensor Tag on!  BONEHEAD!!!

Fiat 2000 Spider

There's an unknown story that lies within this Fiat 2000 Spider that's been parked in her final resting spot for over two decades.  A story that hasn't ended quite yet and when it does, we will not know until it happens.

For starters, it was extremely difficult to capture a clear photograph inside this Spider.  Blurriness and glares would prevent me from shooting a shot that would qualify as being somewhat decent.  The property and house was occupied with many Spirits and Apparitions.  Nothing bad of course, yet very inquisitive of my presence. We have captured orbs outside next to me and in the attic along with figure like images in a few windows.

This classic car was owned and driven by a young man who lived with his parents and younger sister.  Never falling in love himself, he was caught up in the evolution of insanity.  Always an Usher and never a Groom.  He had even caught the Bride's garter once which indicated he was next to marry.  This never proved to be true and by no means did it ever happen.  As you're reading this, that garter still hangs from the rear view mirror of the Fiat 2000 Spider wasting away along with the vehicle itself.

There has been recent activity on the property where this car sits, but nothing has changed except for a few "No Trespassing" signs posted and a small solar light placed near the front porch.  The car and many Spirits and Apparitions still remain waiting for the final chapter of the story that may never culminate.

Autocar

The choke is open and the ignition switch on.  A press of a button and the gargling sound of the massive diesel engine fires up spewing jet black smoke through her exhaust stacks.  Throwing her into gear, she jerks ever so slowly into a forward roll on the broken asphalt.  Just a matter of minutes before she's on the road in high gear for the long haul across America with a load of cargo that keeps our country running.

Stashed away for safe Keeping

Someone is hiding this late 1960's Autocar Semi in the woods far behind their house in hopes to restore her.  Everything intact and in fine condition.  This semi even looks like as if it would start on first try.  Let's hope to see her rolling down the interstate once again!

Decayed & Rotted

It's a fear all us Urban Explorers have

Walking into an abandoned building
Seeing something unexpected
Seeing what we haven't come to see
Seeing it laying there
Seeing it decayed and rotted away
Seeing what we fear the most

The fear of seeing a body laying on the floor before us

Train Tracks

I train myself to be myself, like no other.  To do not what others say or what others do, for to suit what others think is right for me.  I am free to be myself for only myself, simply just to please me.  Not for others to decide what's wrong or right on how I should be.  I'm on my own rails, my own tracks that will lead me to my own destination.

If others disapprove of what I do...
That is something they have to live with, not me!

Writing on the Wall

Usually the message is already written on the wall.
No matter how much you cover it up or sugar coat it,
It still shines through telling the truth!

The Tree

Abigail was bullied and chastised throughout her young life by classmates, teachers and neighbors that it was too much for her to bear.  It was on the morning of her sixteenth birthday when she walked in despair through the open fields to the one and only tree standing.  As Abigail hiked her dress up slightly to advance and climb the tree, she shimmied out on the strongest limb and sat for a moment.

Abigail looked around the field one last time as the tears were rolling down her soft rosy cheeks and vowed that whoever comes and touches this tree will be cursed and for certain die a violent death.  And so, she tied a noose and placed it around her neck and jumped.

To this day if anyone touches the tree where Abigail hung herself, they have soon after suffered a horrific illness and passed away.  Yet, skeptics not believing the legend test it's real worth that's held in the balance of whether or not they should pursue.  The legend of the tree is true and has no mercy for anyone.

Edmund Fitzgerald

Today marks the 42nd Anniversary that we lost the Edmund Fitzgerald

On this day in 1975 the U.S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior during a storm that created waves too intense for the Freighter to endure.  All 29 Crew Member perished as the Edmund Fitzgerald snapped in half and plummeted to the lake's bottom.  This Freighter in her day was the largest, fastest and could carry the heaviest loads to sail the Great Lakes as her remains are the largest to lay to rest today.

This magnificent disaster has intrigued many as it did the legendary Folk Singer Gordon Lightfoot who read an article entitled: "The Cruelest Month" shortly after the incidence on November 24, 1975.  This article inspired Gordon Lightfoot to write the timeless hit:  "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."

The legend lives on from the Chippewa Down
Of the big lake they call 'Gitchie Gumee"
Superior they said, never gives up her Dead
When the gales of November come Early
