Ivy Creeps and Clings

Ivy creeps up your window ever so slowly, but without any warning.  She's untamed and always at her best taking over what was taken away from her.  She will stop at nothing, no matter how hard you try.  Look away and neglect her for a minute and she's back resiliently before you can bat an eye.  Again and again Ivy creeps and clings onto you with all her might.

And there is nothing you can do about it...  Yet, somehow you appreciate her beauty and though you sigh when you see her, you're always glad she returned!

Bozo the Clown

The way I see it...
If you entertain a Clown, you become apart of the Freak Show.

Is that such a terrible thing?!

A Prophecy

To be beneficial to people, you will become one of the best among them.  For those who only think of themselves with no regard to others are the ones who ultimately end up alone.

This has been proven and stood the test of time since the beginning of mankind.

Unanswered Questions

What is it that when a loved one's life is on the brink we conspire, seldom letting our loved ones leave in peace?  As I have expressed in the past, our selfishness denies their life to enter into the after world, knowing that we will never see them again.  Is it for us, or is it for them?

The age old question of what happens after we pass…  This, we obviously won't have the answer to until our time has come.  To one loved one this has come suddenly, without warning or preparation and much too long before her time.  Loved by many and too abruptly for us to comprehend what truly happened.  Yes, with no doubt she will be missed.

Just a few short hours after incident, I randomly find an object in a secluded area where our loved one never stepped foot and most likely never knew existed.  A tiny Snow Globe Christmas ornament I spotted on the floor with a broken dome.  I pick it up and faced it towards me to look at the Snowman.  What shocked me was the name that was printed...  Donna, the same name of who we just lost a few hours earlier.  What are the odds with the thousands of different names in the World, her name comes up on an object I without anticipation picked up.

Is it her herself giving me a sign?  I asked myself: "Why Me?" for I was not exceptionally close with her.  Could it be that I'm open to possibility that she knows now I'm the only one who would be so acceptable for such a message...  Maybe it was the one person I was close to a year and a half ago whom we lost telling me she's with me and in peace now.

Again, questions, questions as they will never be answered until our fateful day when we will finally be in peace.  Heaven has acquired a bright new star who's looking down upon us comforting those who loved her and grieve.  Until our time we meet again, I pray for peace to be with you now through eternity!

Crop Dusting for Gypsy Moths

The Angels from the Sky have Cometh!

Crop Dusters flew low this morning spraying to prevent
Gypsy Moths Caterpillars from hatching.

Last year it was too late as they didn't spray.

And the Caterpillars wiped out at least a third of the Forest.

Yet, Trees are strong and came back!

Now, the Angels from the sky try to stop them before it's too late!

Thank you for protecting our Forests!

He waved good-bye on his last passing!

The Serpent Contradicts

Slithering, Sliding, Skidding and Slinking through Headstones the Serpent seeks what it cannot have.  What does it seek and why?  The Serpent to those is Evil, but is it seemingly only there when there isn't Good?  The lack of Good is considered EviI.

The Serpent is the Devil in disguise.  Would the Devil clone himself and wrap around a Caduceus, the Medical symbol for Fertility, Health and Life.  Yet what hides behind the staff of Caduceus?  Held by the Greek God, Hermes who was the Messenger of Gods known as "The Guide of Death."  Best known as the Protector of Liars, Thieves and Gamblers.

A Contradiction over Contradiction.

Wherever there is good, there is Evil!

Under Cover

This Custom Classic on her way to being restored is giving us a Sneak Peek of what she'll look like when rolling out on the Strip.  I'm going to guess that this Beauty is a 1937 Ford Coupe, but I'm not certain.  Confirmation from an Auto Enthusiast would be nice!

Painted Smile

You fool yourself in front of your Friends
You act as if everything is just Fine
It's all is Bliss, so what you may Think
Invisible walls surrounding your Shrine

Lying to yourself, that's what you Do
Hiding yourself behind a Painted Smile
Around everyone you have a good Time
But inside you're crying all the While

When you're all alone you're falling Apart
Broken down emotions, deep Inside
No one to turn to, to comfort You
All hope is lost, you haven't any Pride

So, you fool yourself in front of the World
An Impostor you are, that's just your Style
It's all is Bliss, so what you may Think
Hiding yourself behind a Painted Smile

Seen the Light

The sun rises at it's highest point during the day and casts the smallest shadows. Though the tall Firs shadow over the tallest cross in the cemetery creating a natural canopy to let little light in.

But those who have been lost in Darkness, now have Seen the Light!

Late Night Walk

A cemetery walk as the sun starts to set can bring uncertainty to those who are apprehensive being alone with the ones that lie to rest beneath the green grass. Tonight is the night words will be spoken from those who no longer speak.  Tonight is the night when all will rise and roam God's Acre without setting one foot on the ground.

Tonight is the night when we will witness for the very first time how it was to walk side-by-side with our ancestors.  I will see you there at the stroke of Midnight.

Paraskevidekatriaphobia ~ Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

The Fear of the Number Thirteen

Friday the Thirteenth

A superstition revolving around a number falling on a specific day of the week, Friday. Why do those fret when this day comes?  Is it because there were thirteen individuals present at the Last Supper for Jesus and Good Friday the day he was crucified?

Why does the number thirteen have such a bad rap?  They're are no records shown how the number thirteen has been unlucky, evil or simply bad.  Inevitably bad things will happen on Friday the Thirteenth...  As well as bad things will happen Thursday the 12th and Saturday the 14th.

But for a moment, why not think about the good things that happen on Friday the Thirteenth...  For one thing, I met my Wife on this day.  I also got hired for a job. Though I still no longer work for that company, I'm still today with my Wife knowing her well over thirty years.

So my Friends, don't fret when a number and a day meet up, just go about your business as you would any other day.  Because you never know, something good just might happen!

Forest Chapel

In the forest sits a tiny Chapel for those weary Travelers who want to stop and pray. Long travels through dense forest can make anyone lose sight on what is truly important to them.

Stop, Kneel or Sit for a moment and give thanks.

Happy Mother's Day

I remember that day when I was in Kindergarden when she hung my first Water Color painting on the refrigerator.  I remember when she showed me how to care for animals and to love them.  I remember that day when I had no money to buy something for her Birthday and made a gift which meant more making it's value priceless.  I remember that time when she made a meal for someone who was in need for they were ill or in mourning.  I remember her walking a mile every day to help the elderly who were unable to care for themselves.  I remember the pride she took taking care of the house we lived in and everything in it.  I remember even when she was sick, she placed others first before tending to her own needs.  I remember there were times when she was hurting and had to let the tears out.

So, when my Mother thought I wasn't paying attention:
She taught me how to be Proud of others.
She taught me how to be kind and Love Animals.
She taught me that little things can mean so much.
She taught me how to care for each other.
She taught me how to give to those that are less fortunate.
She taught me how top care for the things I earned.
She taught me how to be responsible.
She taught me how it's OK to cry sometimes.

Here is a photograph of my Mother when she was a tot in the days when she was observing her Mother's lifestyle and Life's lessons...  And later without a word, she taught me most of Life's Lessons and to be Honest, Good and Loving throughout it.  Thank you Mother for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking or listening.

Happy Mother's Day Mom
I Love You!

Morning Sun Mourns

The morning sun filtered by the overcast sky mourns those we lost over a century ago.  This is the time to reflect how it was in the days when they were living.  How the World was and what was to come.

The the live, that time is gone forever, yet their Souls live on 'til eternity.

They shunned him, they banished him, they expelled him and made sure he was never to return.  Not by his actions, not by his words, not by where he was from, but by his looks.  His looks is what was not welcome for he appeared different than the others.  His face was deformed and skin discolored.

Though his heart was open with love, compassion and contributed ideas to benefit everyone...  And because of his appearance, they wanted nothing to do with him.

Yet that endless knot they weaved called Karma will never untie and when the time is right, it will unexpectedly call upon them for total retribution!

Life Imitates Art

In the land of Gods and Monsters
I was an Angel
Living in the Garden of Evil

Lana Del Ray ~

I could not get "Gods and Monsters" out of my head today.
And when I tried to bellow it out, I had to stifle myself for the lyrics are a bit harsh.

Still, I want to bellow it out!

Shackled & Chained

Shackled and Chained by the dishonorable King who has brainwashed the Kingdom in thinking all is Right and True.  But in essence, everything is wrong and only the one who stands up to defy what is False, is retaliated by the ones who systematically robs Society as a whole...  Yet, they do not pay the Consequences!

What's New on Forsakenly Departed for May

A large inherited amount passed down from Rutherfurd Stuyvesant's Grand Uncle allowed him to make his mark on Earth before his departure on Independence Day 1909.  An Angelic Angel now looms over their plot.

"Death is Naught but an Immortal Birth."

After she has done her part and catered to those deceased, this 1981 Buick Electra Hearse has made her final stop and now withers away being taken over by Nature.  Maybe she will be restored one day in the future or maybe we say: Rest In Peace!

An age old tale about an Elderly Woman who lived in a small House in the Woods.  After her death, those who entered the house never left with a sane mind.

To enter is at your own risk!
If you would like to receive Forsakenly Departed's Newsletter of what's new on the website the first of every month, simply E-Mail me, "Unkle Steve" and I'll place you on the list.
