Unique & Beautiful
They ridicule and judge her for her physical flaws
For what reason only to make themselves feel superior
But it is those flaws that makes her so unique and beautiful

Fair Well to My Lovable Companions
It's hard to lose a pet that's been in your life for several years. I must admit it's even harder when you lose both pets just within a few months from each other.
As many know we lost one of our Cats just two days after Thanksgiving who was the tiny little Runt of the Litter. She was exactly what her name was "Sweetie Pie." She was lovable and would not let you escape from petting her. But after suffering multiple Strokes, her time was expired.
Just today our other Cat "Mrs. P" or "Pshwee" as she was often called past in my Mother-in-Laws arms after she meowed several times in pain. She was suffering from Mouth Cancer and deteriorated rather quickly losing more than half her weight. She was a solid and strong Tortoise Calico who wouldn't let a Mouse past her.
Now both are now together again in Kitty Heaven for all eternity as their leaves forever hang side-by-side on the Memorial Tree in the Veterinary Hospital. May they rest in eternal peace as we all will always miss you!

An Angel ~ Revisited
Hoping everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday as I had a wonderful time spending it with family as we sharing a good laugh and chowing down on a fantastic feast and yes, ate like a King.
For those of you who have been following me from the beginning might remember this beautiful Angel from two years ago. You also might remember that it was a decoration in my Aunt's bathroom and was quite heavy. When I picked the Angel up to take this photograph, it slipped out of my hand and almost crashed onto the tiled floor. I luckily caught it in time, otherwise it would have been a devastation with much explaining to do.
It's been two years since I spent Easter Sunday at my Aunt's home and I was pleased to see this little and heavy Angel was still in the same place as when I saw it last. I had to snap another photograph just for Old Times' Sake! This time I didn't precariously hold it up in fear that it would come crashing down smashing the beautiful tiled floor!

Good Friday
Today is the day that Marks
The slaying of Jesus
The unblemished Lamb
The perfect Sacrifice
This is when God Dmonstrates
His own love for us
While we are all still Sinners
Christ died for us
He took our Guilt
And blame upon Himself
Se we can be with Him
In Paradise
Have Blessed
Good Friday

An Old Woman Who Abandoned Her Shoe
There was an old woman who abandoned her shoe
She had so many children who fled, she didn't know what to do
There was no broth and no bread, there was nothing left to be said
And cried herself to sleep when she lay down in bed

Toad
There once was a little Toad
Who sat on a forest Road
When he saw three angry Thieves
He hopped swiftly in the Leaves
He hopped very far Away
He hid so low as he Pray
Down deep under the tall Grass
In Hopes the three thieves will Pass
When the day now turned to Night
The Toad hid still full of Freight
Until night became the Day
The three thieves have gone Away
There once was a little Toad
Who sat on a forest Road
Who stays alert all day Long
Watching for those who do Wrong

Biking the Trails
Though I cannot go very far with my crippled Forsakenly Departed pickup due to transmission issue that still need to be repaired. Instead, we dragged our old Iron Horses out today and ventured off into the woods to ride on what would be wet and muddy trail conditions. The sun and air felt good and it was nice not having to suit up in Winter gear. It was Father, Daughter time with no clocks and no limits on how far we would go.
When it was all said and done, our pants and shoes were covered with mud and our backs had a brown spotted line going up the center. But at the end of the day it was well worth the trip and much fun was had!

Clinton Road
Dubbed the most haunted road in America
Clinton Road has been stirred up a bit the past couple of weeks on social media for some reason. Possibly new discoverers have become curious of it's legends and lure. I have traveled this narrow 10 mile (16 km) two lane stretch often as well as written about it. The road has gained popularity and most who live in the area have grown to love and fear the unexplained events that occur.
Located on the borders of West Milford and Newfoundland, New Jersey one will travel broken asphalt due to little maintenance all the way to it's northern terminus at Upper Greenwood Lake. This barren stretch with only a few homes and side streets has become a Pandora's Box filled with Ghosts, Witches, Satanists and the Ku Klux Klan who conduct unthinkable acts. Not to mention deranged mix-breeds of animal life and a Phantom Black Pickup that will stop at nothing to run you off the road. There are also rumors of well known Serial Killers dumping bodies into the surrounded wooded area never to be found. It's no wonder this road is heavily patrolled by Police cruising in tandem.
If you want your imagination to run away enough to lose your wits about you, take a midnight ride ten miles down Clinton Road. It's certain you'll come back with a tale to tell if you even make it out alive. You'll have time to think about it while waiting at the county's longest traffic light just before entering the road. During the five minute wait at the double crossing, you might change your mind and chicken out. But hang in there and wait until the light turns green, look both ways as well as behind you, then proceed with caution
I'm driving, who's coming along?!

Palm Sunday
Today being Palm Sunday is the sixth and last Sunday of Lent and marks the beginning of Holy Week. This day also joins the foretelling of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem as a crowd welcomed him with palm branches. The proclamation of his Passion in the Gospel reading Hence, the day is called "Palm Sunday" as well as "Passion Sunday."
As we recognize Palm Sunday today, I will be thinking of you and praying that Christ's guiding light will always shine over you. Today and every day!
Peace be with you!

McDonnell Douglas DC-3
The Sun rises early evaporating the fog in my head from last nights buzz. The birds are singing a melody accompanying the nice Woman next door as she hums a playful tune while picking fresh Daises. My head is heavy though I know it will lighten as the morning progresses into a warn sunny day.
A faint rumble in the distance begins to draw near and become louder and louder as each passing second goes by. As the rumble becomes almost defining, I look up to see a vintage McDonnell Douglas DC-3 roar overhead. Being so low to the ground, I could almost make out the brand name of the Pilot's aviator sunglasses. The two affixed prop engines clung onto the stately wings propelling this metal of a beast forward.
Time suddenly stopped as she steadily glided in slow motion long enough for me to take it all in. My heart was beating as my head was reeling and just for a mere moment I was living in the past as a boy chasing the 50819 Navel Air Transport Service filled with Solders coming home.

Somebody
Somebody once told me
Somebody opened the door
And Somebody was in here
Somebody took my stuff
Then Somebody disappeared
They talked to Somebody
To go with Somebody
At Somebody's house
To do something with Somebody
Somebody always brings up the subject
That always pisses Somebody off
I may have to tell Somebody something
So Somebody here won't say anything
They hired Somebody
So Somebody can do the job right
Because Somebody screwed it up
And now Somebody going to pay
Somebody was here
Somebody that you don't know
But It was Somebody I once knew
Though Somebody is no longer with us
If you see Somebody, let me know
Because I never met Somebody
That Somebody always knows
Who is Somebody
I would love to meet them

Fireplace
A place for Fire
Smoke rises Higher
Was once burned Prior
Now home in Dire
Of walls that are Downed
And roof to the Ground
Nothing now is Sound
No life is Around
There's nothing at All
Yet look down the Hall
At a large stone Wall
That still stands so Tall
A fire in this Space
Not burned down this Place
Mother Nature's Face
Let her fall with Grace

Don't Forget the Mace
There's something one shouldn't leave home without when venturing out in abandoned places. I'm not talking about the once popular ground spice, Mace that's used for savory marinades for meats and stews. I'm talking about the the chemical Mace (CN) that is an Irritant like Tear Gas. Personally I prefer Pepper Spray over Mace which is an Inflammatory Agent that will immediately incapacitate your Assailant and bring them down long enough to flee. I never leave home without it.
Why do I say bring Mace or Pepper Spray when exploring. This is a defense that can be used towards confrontational Squatters or animals that might be overly aggressive. You never know what you might run into which always heightens the adrenaline when first entering unknown areas.
Many ask: "Why Mace or Pepper Spray? I have a knife!" Simply put, Mace and Pepper Spray is a defensive medium where a knife is offensive. If an offensive weapon is used, (especially against humans) you can get yourself in a lot more trouble than that of just trespassing.
I talk as if I have experience... I really don't and never had the run in with an aggressive Squatter and honestly don't want to ever have to. I do like to be prepared for such situations in the event one arises. However, if I have the gut feeling that I shouldn't enter an abandoned building for the fear something may go wrong, I won't.

Simulating Age
I was pondering on how I would look thirty, forty years from now. I decided to lay in a hot bathtub filled with water for an hour or so. Upon getting out and looking in the mirror, I saw that the results were amazing!
About an our after the wrinkles were finally gone.
Have a blessed day!

The list goes on filled with degrading names that never ends and forever formulating with creative and new ways to humiliate someone. Aren't we just once one of these names during our lives and maybe just the least bit afraid to admit it? Are we to judge the ones who fall into this genre and are we the ones fooling or being fooled? I may just have this last laugh, but by no means does it make me the better man.
Forgive my absence as of late for reasons that I was most likely one or more of these names listed. The fog has lifted and I believe I'm back on track.
Enjoy this April Fools Day and don't be fooled by the Fools who try to foolish fool you... And if you are fooled, take it lightly or you will be dubbed one of the many names you may not like. No worries, it won't be permanent!
