Jeff Allen Motors located on US Highway 46 in Denville, New Jersey where Mr. Allen sold Ford and Used Cars with that small town welcome to to family atmosphere. This photo was taken sometime in the 1950's but difficult to tell exactly what year due to the many years of vehicles in the lot covered in snow.
I'm not sure who took over the building after Jeff Allen retired, but I do remember that Firestone Tires was there for many years, then moved down the highway about a mile closer to the center of town. Currently the building is owned by the EDT Discount Tires Center who completely renovated the structure to look more modern. I wish I had that Ford sign hanging on the front of the building.
What a perfect photograph to share after all the posts of yesterday and last night's snow storm.
